Brendon's Healing Wish to Hawaii

Brendon's Wish
I tear up when I revisit how wonderful this experience was for my family. It has restored my faith in people. The Make-A-Wish team has become an extended family for us.

My son Brendon struggles with multiple health complications and has always had a love for American history. His wish was to visit Pearl Harbor and to visit the memorials and museums. And honestly, the boy loves the beach too!

We were contacted by the New Hampshire Make-A-Wish team and were thrilled to hear he qualified for a wish!

Along with the thoughtful Hawaii Chapter, this awesome organization didn't simply fulfill his wish but went above and beyond his hopes.

It was an amazing experience that goes beyond words. As a parent of a child that is sick, doctor appointments can come more frequently and new diagnoses are made. Sometimes it can become overwhelming and you think to yourself "Can this poor kid ever get a break?" YEP! Thanks to Make-A-Wish.

He experienced an interactive Luau - an experience with the dolphins at Sea Life Park (Chief's Luau) that made him smile cheek to cheek! The Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri made for a great day that will never be forgotten. The hotel accommodations at The Sheraton Waikiki were absolutely perfect and had the prettiest views!

Thank you, thank you!
