More than 700 guests enjoyed performances from award-winning local musical duo Ben & Maila and New Hope Oahu Music and watched with bated breath as our gang of board members rode the mechanical bull to raise funds for wishes. One of the highlights of the night was when special guest performer and country artist RaeLynn performed a moving duet of "God Made Girls" with new wish kid Keira.
“We are so grateful to have had RaeLynn fly in all the way from Nashville to perform for us and to give Keira such a special start to her wish journey,” said Make-A-Wish Hawaii President and CEO Siana Hunt. “There was not a dry eye in the audience during their performance.”
RKT Media Founder and President Ryan Kalei Tsuji emceed the night’s festivities along with colleague and local television personality Kanoe Gibson.
Make-A-Wish Hawaii would like to thank all of the donors, vendors, volunteers, staff members, and supporters who worked to make this year’s gala a success.
“This year’s WISH! Gala was perhaps our most memorable and most successful to date,” said Hunt. “We were so humbled to see that so many people in our Hawaii community truly believe in the power of a wish.”
