Jingle-Rock Run 2013
WHAT: Make-A-Wish® Hawaii proudly presents its first annual “Jingle Rock Run”. Runners and walkers will share their holiday cheer through Kaka'ako, Downtown, and then jingle all the way to the Honolulu Night Market! Enjoy this unique opportunity to enjoy the Christmas décor of Downtown like you’ve never done before. Wheelchairs, strollers and pets are welcome in this race and costumes are encouraged! There is also a 0.25mile Keiki Sprint available for children under the age of 12.
WHEN: Saturday, December 21st 4PM – Keiki Sprint Start 5PM – Jingle Rock Run Start
WHY: Each year, 100 local children are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition and Make-A-Wish Hawaii’s goal is to reach each and every one of them with the power of a wish. ALL proceeds from this event will support wish granting in the State of Hawaii.
WHERE: The race will start and end in the heart of Kaka’ako and take runners and walkers through downtown on S. King Street and back via Nimitz/Ala Moana Blvd. See attached map for complete course info.

WHO: Make-A-Wish® Hawaii grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. We believe that wishes are good medicine – allowing children fighting unimaginable battles to think beyond illness and start dreaming big. Since the founding of our chapter in 1982, Make-A-Wish Hawaii has granted over 900 wishes to Hawaii keiki.
