Planned Giving

Balance your financial goals and charitable interests with a planned gift, ensuring your support for the children we serve well into the future.

Planned Giving Include Us in Your Will, Estate Plan

This is the simplest and most popular way to help grant wishes for future generations of children. Adding a gift through your will or living trust can be as simple as adding a single sentence. Here's our preferred language; take this to your attorney to use as a starting point.

I give the sum of $___ or ___% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Hawaii, P.O. Box 1877, Honolulu, HI 96805 (tax id: 99-0220777) to be used or disposed of as the Board of Trustees deems appropriate in its sole discretion.

You can designate assets such as retirement plans and life insurance policies after you're gone by simply filling out a form that is entirely separate from your will - which makes this approach an easy and flexible way to give.
