Wish Granting for Non-Verbal Children

Volunteering for Make-A-Wish Hawaii has been life-changing. I’ve seen a number of wishes in the past year, and I’ve learned that no wish experience is the same. Initially there were a number of people who asked me if I thought wish granting would make me sad, to which I replied it would actually be a joyful experience. What I didn’t realize at the time was how very true that statement would become.
