Monalizas DC Wish

Monaliza
Monaliza is one of our 38 wish kids this summer waiting for their one-true-wish to be granted!

Throughout Monaliza’s life, she has been confined to round the clock care and a hospital bed. She has always wanted to break free from her comfort zone and travel as she’s seen her sister and family do many times without her; due to additional needs and care required to take her with them. Her love for museums and historical monuments made Washington D.C. an easy choice.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” Be part of Monaliza's wish and help her live a life she’s always dreamed of.

About this Blog

Wish Blog gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the wonderful work happening at Make-A-Wish® Hawaii. See how the wishes of local keiki battling life-threatening medical conditions come together and how they change lives forever. Hear directly from those who work or volunteer here, or from those in your neighborhood who have been transformed by a wish in some way. Discover why we are so committed to achieving our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child, every year.

We want to hear from you.

We moderate our communities by only one rule: Be nice. We welcome different views - just keep it courteous and considerate. Mahalo for connecting.

Please submit your blog ideas for consideration to Lauren Haavik at yunnivx@unjnvv.jvfu.bet.
