For the 10th year in a row in beautiful Kapolei, the Swing for Wishes Charitable Golf Tournament gave new hope to wish families facing childhood illnesses.

This year, Swing for Wishes hosted 82 teams of 246 golfers, all coming together to give much-needed joy to families in our community.

This established tournament has grown to be one of the chapter's biggest annual fundraisers, with more than $820,000 raised in years past, helping to grant dozens of wishes over the last decade. This year's milestone fundraiser aims to push the grant wish-granting total to over $1 million—each dollar staying right here in Hawaii to grant wishes for local children and reuniting their families.

The Hawaii Prince Golf Club in sunny Ewa was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and, at the tournament, was lined with heavy pupu and handcrafted refreshments all along the way, and even a chance to win a brand new car with a hole-in-one.

Thanks to a partnership with the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa, dozens of Hawaii wish kids and their families have experienced something magical and life-changing in the face of critical illnesses; all possible thanks to this tournament.

The presentation of the funds raised on this magical milestone year will be presented at the Light the Night ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa on Thursday, December 1, 2016.
