Hawaii State Federal Credit Union will contribute up to $10,000 to Make-A-Wish Hawaii by donating $5 for each online vote received during its 2015 board of directors election. Donations to Make-A-Wish Hawaii will only be made for online votes.

Thousands of runners, both young and young-at-heart, turned out in Kakaako for a good cause on Sunday. Make-A-Wish Hawaii’s second annual “Jingle Rock Run” first kicked off in the afternoon with a Keiki Sprint, and then a 5K run for adults in the evening. The route took runners through the sparkling Downtown Christmas lights, and eventually ended at Mother Waldron Park.

Ileina is a 5 year old from Mililani battling a severe respiratory condition. Her only wish was to become a Disney princess. Thanks to Make-A-Wish Hawaii, her dream has become a reality. Make-A-Wish Hawaii will be holding their 2nd Annual Jingle Rock Run this Sunday, December 21, to help make other children's wishes come true.
